Celebrities come together with world business leaders and VIP guests for two incredible days of five-star sport, entertainment, and hospitality for a great cause. Set against a backdrop of one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, the event epitomises the stunning Costa Smeralda region of Sardinia.
Guests at the Costa Smeralda Invitational have access to a unique sporting event: either golf in the celebrity team tournament, tennis with a hosted clinic and doubles tournament, or exclusive cycling peloton.
Previous years have seen some of the world’s top professionals host the event including; Olympic Champion Justin Rose, 2016 Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke, and the greatest ever female golfer, Annika Sorenstam. Players are treated to an unmissable a clinic before the shotgun start, and also challenged to a “Beat the Pro” hole.
The exclusive Celeb-Am team stableford tournament at the stunning Pevero Golf Club sees guests teamed with a celebrity host for a fun and exciting competition. Past team hosts have included; Michael Ballack, Schalk Brits, Alessandro Del Piero, Kapil Dev, Jimmy Nesbitt, and Denis Van Outen, to name a few.
Held at Cervo Tennis Club in the picturesque town of Porto Cervo, the tennis event will give guests the chance to honed their skills with an exclusive coaching session with a world famous tennis start, before putting into practice in the doubles tournament. The 2017 host was former Wimbledon champion and Australian legend, Pat Cash.
Guests have the opportunity to join the special Costa Smeralda Invitational peloton and take a 30k or 60k ride around the stunning coastline and beyond. Those who took part last year experienced unbeatable and breathtaking views.
